Military Power: Airforce

Hey guys, welcome to my blog! For the first day I'd llike to say something about the PRC military armaments, especially the fighters and Bombers because when we talk about whether a country is a threat or not, we always see its military power first. If a contry has no military power, it can cause no harm even it has a malicious intention. The following Images will give you a rough image of the PLA (People's Liberation Army):

NO.1 J-10

The fighter J-10 is one of the best aircrafts that PLA has. This type of fighter is mainly used for air to air combat. The J-10 will probably be considered the F-16 of China. But in fact the revolutionary F-22 and F-35 of U.S have already been put into use. J-10 has little chance against the fourth generation fighters.

NO.2 J-11/Su-27
The J-11 of China was originally designed in Russia and then exported to China. The PLA replaced the Russian component with Chinese ones. But the most important part of the aircraft, the engine is still Russian product. This type of fight is roughly equivalent to F-15, which was developed by the states in 1970s, it seems that China's military power is not yet able to match that of the rest of the developed world.

NO.3 J-9/FC-1
The last fighter I want to talk about is the J-9(also called FC-1'Fighter China'). The plane is speacially designed for pakistan in replacement of its F-16C/D project due the procrastination of the U.S government. Thus, we do not know whether this aircraft will show up in the PLA, but it's not the best air force product that China can make at all. So, it's performance should be lower than the Former J-10.

This is the newest fighters of China in the recent 3 years. We can easily see that China's military power just reached the level of the Western world in 1970s-1980s. Thus, at this point, China is not a threat to the other parts of the world.
